"Be faithful in small things. It is in them that your strength lies." - Mother Teresa
Join us with our partner, Martin Health System, at our 3rd Annual World Suicide Prevention Symposium this Fall. Our speakers, including the Director of Emergency Medicine for MHS Tradition, Mental Health Therapist, and Mental Health Advocate, will share critical information that will absolutely change and save a life. The program will include a panel discussion including friends from partner agencies who work closely with those impacted by suicide.
Designed and developed for the community-at-large, we encourage first responders, teachers, HR directors, and others on the front lines with those populations effected most by suicide - middle aged white males and pre-teen girls, to attend the free lectures. Come early to network and collect information from partner agencies. Attendees will be given certificates of attendance, following the event.
This year's theme, "take a minute, save a life" is in direct alignment with Suncoast's mission for the past 19 years. We know for certain that the work our therapists, case managers, psychiatric team and support staff do on a daily basis positively impacts the mental well being of our community. Join us and learn how one small interaction in your day may be just the spark necessary to fire the mental well being of the person you've touched.
Suncoast Mental Health Center is a small, but mighty mental health non-profit, accredited by the Joint Commission. We have been saving and changing lives on the Treasure Coast and Okeechobee for 19 years. We thank you for sharing this event with your family and friends. Together, we're making a difference!
